Gathering, Use, and Disclosure of Information
1. Personally Identifiable Information
Practice Advantage is the sole owner of the information we collect. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. This information includes contact details, such as name, address, practice name and e-mail address. Information will only be collected when you voluntarily give it to us.
2. Special Offers and News
We may use your contact information to tell you about news or promotional materials from Practice Advantage or its strategic partners that we believe may interest you provided you have agreed to receive these types of communication. We will always present the option to not receive this material.
3. Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our general website. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. We use session-based cookies to determine general effectiveness of marketing campaigns. In such cases, we increment an aggregate number indicating success for that marketing campaign, but do not tie it to any of your personally identifiable information. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our entire site.
We recommend you permit the use of cookies. This is because the cookie is stored on your computer. In other words, the data, which we, and other sites, gather about you, remains your property, under your control.
4. Correcting/Updating Personal Information
We are currently enhancing our data capture technology to allow users to allow Practice Advantage members to maintain their personally identifiable or general information.
