Terms and Conditions

OWNERSHIP AND COPYRIGHT

Practice Advantage Pty Ltd shall be owner of and beneficially entitled to the copyright and all other rights of a like nature conferred in any works carried out by Practice Advantage Pty Ltd.

SAMPLES

Samples displayed on our websites or otherwise provided to you are indicative only. Content varies each issue, and variances may occur with paper, colour, print style and print quality.

LOGOS AND IMAGES

Practice Advantage Pty Ltd does not accept any responsibility for the quality of any images used publications where those images have been provided by you in a format other that the ones specified. We will make a reasonable attempt to improve the quality of images provided.

In the event that an image requires redrawing and you require Practice Advantage to undertake the work, we may charge you to reproduce the image, in which case payment will be required before undertaking the work.

COLOUR MATCHING

Where colour matching of newsletter (where available) is required a PantoneĀ® Matching System (PMS) reference number must be provided.

FIRM DETAILS

Information requested by Practice Advantage should be forwarded as soon as practically possible after placing an order. It is your responsibility to ensure that details and logos are provided to Practice Advantage Pty Ltd in a timely manner.

PROOFS

Unless specifically stated, Practice Advantage does not provide proofs of any work prior to delivery.

ACCURACY OF NEWSLETTERS

It is your responsibility to check the publication for accuracy before printing or distribution of the file. Practice Advantage takes no responsibility or liability for any costs incurred from a negligence of the subscriber to check details of the publication before distribution.

RENEWEL OF SUBSCRIPTIONS

Subscriptions paid on a monthly basis will be automatically renewed at the then current existing price structure and a tax invoice will be supplied.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS

First time subscribers looking to take advantage of the reduced rate for resubscribers must renew their subscriptions immediately after the final issue of the first year.

PRICING

Pricing includes GST for Australian purchases.

PRICE CHANGES

Prices on products and subscriptions may change at any time without notice after your twelve month subscription period.

PAYMENT

Payment Methods

Credit Card

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit card payments. Crediti cards may be used to pay annually in advance or monthly subscriptions (subject to the aforementioned renewal conditions).

Cheque

Payment can be made by cheque for all payments made in advance. Cheque will only be accepted for full annual payments made in advance.

Direct Deposit

Payment can be made by direct deposit for all payments made in advance. Direct deposit will only be accepted for full annual payments made in advance.

Newsletters

Subscriptions may be paid annually in advance or by an initial payment plus monthly payments set out on the appropriate order form.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT FAILURE

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient credit available on your credit card to meet your monthly payment. Should a credit card decline when processed, Practice Advantage Pty Ltd will attempt to reprocess the payment within three days.

If the credit card is continuously declined Practice Advantage Pty Ltd will notify you in writing and allow five days for you to make funds available on the credit card provided, or provide an alternative credit card.

DELIVERY

Practice Advantage newsletters will be uploaded for the subscriber on a secure web space. It is the responsibility of the subscriber to download the newsletter. You must notify us immediately if your newsletter isn’t received within a reasonable time from the due date.

TERMINATION

Practice Advantage Pty Ltd may terminate a subscription as a result of non-payment. You may cancel a subscription at any time.

NO REFUNDS

Subject to our termination conditions no refunds will be given on any subscriptions paid in advance. You may terminate subscriptions at any time provided that cancellations are made at least 7 days prior to the month’s end (next payment).

VIRUS PROTECTION AND DISCLAIMER

Electronic files provided should be checked for viruses and other defects before opening.

Practice Advantage Pty Ltd shall not be liable or responsible to you or to any third party under any circumstances for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss or damages or for loss of profit, business revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings which result or may result from the use of newsletters and guides or from the advice or information contained in it.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Practice Advantage publications are intended as a resource for accounting firm clients. They may be distributed and reproduced to clients as an email or in printed form. Publications must not be redistributed for profit to subscribers or other accounting firms.
